Christmas Picnic: Members only event
Join us on Saturday 27 November for a fun filled afternoon. Your invitation will be included as an insert in the September 2010 Australian Coeliac magazine.
Information Sessions: Members only event
Information sessions are held bi-monthly on a Saturday afternoon. They are a great opportunity for members to learn about their condition and how to manage their gluten free diet. They are recommended for all new members and not so new members who wish to update their knowledge.

Preschoolers Morning Tea: Members only event
This event is held once a term in our office and is an opportunity for children with coeliac disease to play and make friends and their parents to have a chat over morning tea (gluten free of course!)

Gluten free afternoon tea at the QVB: Members only event
Gluten free afternoon tea is available daily with a selection of sweet cakes and savoury items served with a selection of teas. For an additional cost, a glass of Australian sparkling wine can be added.

Shopping Tours: Members only event
Shopping Tours are held bi-monthly on a weekday morning. Conducted by Penny, our Dietitian, the tour of a local supermarket provides members with an opportunity to practice their label reading, find new products and get some tips for healthy eating along the way.

Cooking Demonstrations: Members only event
Cooking gluten free can be a challenge, even for the most experienced in the kitchen. If you would like some tips for cooking gluten free or are after some new recipes, consider coming along to a cooking demonstration. They are held throughout the year and cover various cuisines and themes.

Inservices
The Society can provide staff inservices on managing coeliac disease and the gluten free diet for Dietitians, Aged Care Facilities, Child Care Centres, Supported Living Services etc. on request.
