The Coeliac Society
Gluten Free Recipe Book
3rd Edition (printed November 2009)
Gluten free cooking can prove challenging as many gluten free flours behave differently in baking to gluten containing flours such as wheat flour.
Who best to produce a gluten free recipe book than a large group of people who have to bake gluten free every single day of their lives? The challenge was to produce a recipe book with pictures in full colour but at an affordable price. Not stopping there, we wanted the recipes to be interesting and acceptable to everyone (not just the coeliac).
This we believe has been achieved with this completely new resource. It has around 130 recipes each with nutritional analysis (including diabetic exchanges), 45 photos, tips, alternatives and more. It covers –
- Breakfasts
- Soups
- Salads and Light Meals
- Savoury Appetisers
- Breads
- Baking
- Cakes and Pastry
- Dinner
- Dessert
- Special Occasions

There are a few challenging recipes but on the whole most of the recipes are easy to make.
The book is proudly sponsored by Carman’s Fine Foods, Muffin Break, Billabong Brewing, Yeo’s, Sweet William, Fountain, Gravox, Well & Good and Laucke Flour Mills and we thank them for their support.
Cost: $15 plus postage and handling
