TAS Membership
To become a member of The Coeliac Society of Tasmania, please download the Membership application form or contact us on 1300 458 836 for a membership form to be posted to you.
About the Fees
The cost for the first year is $87.00 (Concession $70.00) which includes a Joining Fee, Great Start Kit with gluten free samples and Annual Membership Subscription—4 issues per annum. Please note—as the subscription year runs from 1/7 to 30/6 each year, applications received in April will be charged for 5 issues.—$97.00 (Concession $80.00)
Your Great Start Kit includes a Handbook giving you very useful information to assist in getting started on your gluten free diet. You will also receive a Recipe book, an Ingredient List, ID card, handy hints, restaurant list and various product information sheets. The Annual Fee covers your subscription to four (4) editions of the Tasmanian Newsletter Villi Good News and four (4) national magazines. The national magazine, The Australian Coeliac, will be forwarded to you quarterly. It contains information about Coeliac Disease and Dermatitis Herpetiformis, the gluten free diet, new products and recipes and the latest research.
The Annual Membership Subscription (Renewal) is $45.00 (concession $35.00) Payment is due 1 July of each year. (A renewal notice is sent out to all members) By renewing each year, you will continue to receive your quarterly publications as well as ongoing support and the latest information on living a gluten free lifestyle.

Support Groups
There are three support groups around Tasmania that meet on a regular basis to discuss changes in the gluten free diet, exchange recipes, have cooking classes, etc. These groups are of a great encouragement and support to members and a fun chance to enjoy a gluten free supper. Contact the office for the contact details of your local support group.
Professional Members
Professional Membership is open to health professionals, gluten free food manufacturers, restaurants, chefs, caterers and retailers. Keep up to date with the latest information on catering gluten free.
